When I got pregnant with my first daughter, I knew I did not want to put anything synthetically made on her. No petroleum ingredients. I started making my own salves and balms. After the birth of my third daughter I had started researching ingredients in other bodycare products and learning which to avoid. As the years passed and my knowledge grew, I realized we couldn't use anything on the market!!! It all has carcinogenic (cancer causing) ingredients. My second daughter had such sensitive skin that she could not wear anything without breaking out when she was born. No wonder, everything is toxic! I started selling a few items for a fundraiser for a Montessori school that I started in 2003. With outrageous response to our catalogue, I decided to try to sell directly to the public. That's when I started Nature's Mysteries. What started out as a few salves has blossomed into an apothecary of over 100 products! Many are suggestions from customers. If there is anything you are looking for that I don't make, let me know, I'll research it, and start making it.
I make a Healing Salve that over 25 people who have had bad eczema or psoriasis and have tried everything to no avail, say really works!!! Talk about making it all worthwhile.
