Itching Eyes When I Use Conditioner

I am looking for an answer to my question as to why my eyes itch terribly in the shower after I use conditioner. No hives, just itchy eyes. Never occurred to me it could an allergy. I am allergic to animals and I have the ones I allergic to so I take singular and a steroid inhaler. My eyes don't itch normally until I use conditioner in the shower so thus I am assuming it is the conditioning product and not the animal dander. Help.

Some products contain ingredients that are derived from animals, but when you look at the label you wouldn't know that they are.
