Itching Eyes When I Use Conditioner

I am looking for an answer to my question as to why my eyes itch terribly in the shower after I use conditioner. No hives, just itchy eyes. Never occurred to me it could an allergy. I am allergic to animals and I have the ones I allergic to so I take singular and a steroid inhaler. My eyes don't itch normally until I use conditioner in the shower so thus I am assuming it is the conditioning product and not the animal dander. Help.

Itchy eyes can be caused my a number of things, and I recommend stopping the use of this particular conditioner and seeing how your body responds. If the itching gets better, then look at the ingredients in your conditioner to see if you might be able to get an idea of what is causing the itching. That way you can avoid those ingredients that may be irritating when you look for a new conditioner.

I hope this is helpful, please let us know how this goes for you!
