Looking for Hypoallergenic Hair Gel

What is your main sensitive skin problem?: Allergies
What would you like to see more of on our site?: Hypoallergenic products
Is there anything else we can do to help?: What is the best hypoallergenic hair gel that doesn't contain those chemicals and ingredients?

Our Reply:

Hi, and thank you very much for your feedback. Yes, finding a good hypoallergenic hair gel is a real challenge nowadays. The brand I usually recommend has temporarily discontinued their hair gel, though they hope to re-introduce it later on in the year.

I have found even the fragrance free product lines that you find in health food stores that claim to be hypoallergenic have parabens and preservatives that I find irritating and would not want on my skin.

So far I've only found a few hypoallergenic hair gels and they each have their benefits and drawbacks. I've listed these here in our hypoallergenic hair gel section.

Has anyone else found a good fragrance free hypoallergenic hair gel that does not contain parabens or irritating preservatives?

Some people I know have tried using homemade hair gel with plain gelatin. I've never tried this myself.

I wish I had more to offer, and I hope our visitors can share their recommendations so you can find something that will work for you!

Best wishes,
Mashubi
