Drink half my body weight in water?

On your psoriasis page, you state:

"Drink at least half of your body weight in water each day. Water is essential for keeping the skin hydrated."

I don't think that can be correct. That sounds as if it could cause a lot of problems.

Medical advice on drinking water varies quite a bit. Some doctors recommend 8 glasses of water per day. Others recommend that you only drink water when you are thirsty.

Naturopathic Doctors recommend drinking half your body weight in ounces of water each day. For example, if you weight 150 pounds, they recommend drinking 75 ounces of water per day.
