Cleure Hypoallergenic Skin Care line

Hi! I am really interested in the Cleure skincare line but when I clicked on the link and was transferred to the website, it states that, that particular line is no longer available. What else in that line would you suggest? Thanks!

Our reply

Hi, I'm so sorry you had difficulty find their products. They periodically update their product line and website. You can try this link and you'll be brought to their most updated hypoallergenic product listings here at ***z-cleure.shtml*** .

I've looked at a lot of different allergy free and hypoallergenic products and as far as I can tell, theirs are the best for several reasons ...

1. they have safer ingredients, no parabens or toxic chemical additives

2. they have no plant allergens

3. they use a small number of quality ingredients, so there is less likelihood that one ingredient will cause a breakout.

4. the products work really well! I've tried almost everything in their line and they are very effective. Their ***z-cleure-hypoallergenic-shampoo.shtml*** is my favorite, it's the only shampoo I can find that makes my hair full and shiny without chemicals or fragrances.

5. They are quite affordable for quality products ... they are packaged in generous sized containers which is more Earth friendly AND less expensive.

Question About Cleure for Anti-Aging

Is the ***z-cleure.shtml*** line as effective on mature skin when there is no serums? Do you use the moisturizer under the eyes as well as I did not see one specific for the eyes?

Our reply

Hi, and thanks for your message. Cleure is the only company that I am aware of that offers ***z-cleure-botanical-free-hypoallergenic-products.shtml*** which are free from both plant allergens as well as chemical irritants such as parabens, SLS and other ingredients that can cause rashes and skin breakouts.

Hypoallergenic products are made to be non-irritating, and they are different from bioactive skin care products which work through the action of different botanical ingredients that reduce wrinkling and provide other anti-aging benefits.

Most anti-aging skincare products use botanical ingredients to create serums and other products that reduce the visible signs of aging. These can work well, but for those of us with sensitive skin, they can also cause skin breakouts. I have found that I get a skin rash when I try even the natural and organic anti-aging skincare products.

Cleure, to their credit, does a great job of providing allergy free, botanical free antiaging products. I get the best anti-aging effect by using their entire skincare line (they provide a discount for this at the Cleure Complete Skincare Pack ) because it provides the maximum amount of gentle exfoliation, moisture, natural anti-inflammatories, and non-irritating anti-aging ingredients. Their Day and Night Cream are notable in removing fine lines, and they do have a very nice hypoallergenic eye repair gel, it is a clear gel and is very soothing and good for removing fine lines and wrinkles under the eyes.

I'm here in the Philippines. I would like to know if Cleure products are available in my country or in Asia?

Reply: Hello, yes, I spoke with Andy in customer service at Cleure and he said they can ship products almost anywhere, and they are definitely available in the Phillipines.

If you want to be absolutely sure before you place your order, then click the "My Account" button at the top right on their site, and then set up a New Customer account.

When you are prompted to enter your address you will see a drop down menu with a long list of countries, and you can check to make sure your country is there in the list.

If it is, then Cleure will be able to ship to your country.

Cleure Products in the UK

by Rachel
(London)

Hi,

After reading your reviews, I would like to purchase ***z-cleure.shtml*** products, I live in the UK. would you know if shipping charges apply to the UK? if they don't work out to be too expensive, I would like to go ahead and order them.

Our reply

Hi, and thanks for your message. Yes, these products are available in the UK and many other countries. You can find out the different shipping options by going to the ***z-cleure.shtml*** site and creating a free member account and putting the items in the cart, which will then display your shipping.

If it seems too expensive, you can contact them to see if they have any other shipping options. I've found their customer service to be excellent, and they will do whatever they can to help get you the products at the most reasonable rates.

When I first tried their products, I lived in an area where it was difficult to get postal mail. Our mailbox was on a main road and not very secure, so I requested UPS delivery. They said "certainly, we can do that."

Later I learned that they had to make a special trip to the UPS facility to send me my products! They really went the extra mile, and so I have been a happy ***z-cleure.shtml*** customer ever since.

Question About Cleure Products

by Kelsey

Hi I was doing some research on the Cleure products because I'm interested in natural cleansers for my face. I've been breaking out bad lately and I think it has to do with the toxins in my facial cleansers. However after looking at the ingredients in the Cleure skin care I noticed that they are not natural or organic: dimethicone, isododecane, caprylyl glycol and other strange chemicals. Now I'm confused. Is there any way you can clear this up for me?

My reply:

Hi Kelsey, and thanks for writing. This is a great question. Yes, for some people it is the chemicals in skin care products that can cause facial breakouts, but not all chemicals cause problems. It really depends on which chemicals are used and what effect they can have on the body.

There are also people who may be having an allergic reaction to even herbal, botanical, or natural ingredients. Just because an ingredients is natural does not mean it will work for you. It's like hay fever, some of us get allergies in the springtime when we go to the nice fresh outdoors! :-)

Even natural skin care ingredients when used in skin care products may require a preservative, which is not usually required to be listed on the label. That is why I have so many homemade skincare recipes on this site, as they can be made without preservatives, and using only a few ingredients. For some people, this approach works best for their sensitive skin.

Now not everyone will have an allergic reaction to natural products, and I've found a great skincare line made for sensitive skin which has natural ingredients and does not give me a reactions.

The key is to find out what your unique body is reacting to, and then find some healthier alternatives for you. What you find that works for you may be different than what works for me or for others.

My problem was finding products that were 1. chemically safe, 2. not irritating or allergy producing and 3. that also worked well and provided good results. After all, even sensitive people want to look good! :-)

In answer to your question about Cleure products, they are the hypoallergenic line that I could find which is formulated to be free of botanicals which can irritate some people who may have allergies, especially those with salicylate allergies.

The big difference between Cleure's ingredients and those of other hypoallergenic products I've seen which may also be botanical free, such as Vanicream, Neutrogena and so forth, is that Cleure uses gentler chemical ingredients which do not irritate the skin and which have little or no toxic effects on the body. They have eliminated parabens from all their hair, skin and body care products, and are currently updating their cosmetics, most of which are now paraben free.

Most everything in our world is made up of chemicals, and the problems start when we use those chemicals that have a more harmful effect on the body.

For example dimethicone, isododecane, caprylyl glycol are chemicals used in Cleure and other hypoallergenic product lines but their effect on the body is less irritating and much less toxic than other kinds of chemicals which are commonly used in hypoallergenic skin care products.

Just as an example, if you look at the research on these ingredients at the cosmetics database (cosmeticsdatabase.com), you can see that the hazard level of these ingredients is very low.

Now the Cosmetics Database is not perfect, so there may be things missing from the research they have done, however I find that they are a good guideline.

I think the best way to decide what chemicals we expose our bodies to is a combination of education and intuition.

Each of our beautiful, unique bodies may or may not react to these chemicals, but I believe they are better than parabens and other more irritating substances.

If you compare these ingredients with some of the ingredients used in some other popular hypoallergenic product lines, you'll see a big difference. For example Neutrogena products contain fragrance which is one of the top five allergens and considered a high hazard to health. They also use Methylparaben and Propylparaben which can cause skin irritation.

Even the better hypoallergenic product lines such as Vanicream use less irritating ingredients but they still are not good enough for what I am looking for. According to my research, their ingredients are less gentle and potentially more hazardous to the body.

To their credit, they've chosen chemicals which tend to be less allergenic, even though they can cause other problems. For example their shampoo contains PEG-150 pentaerythrityl tetrastearate, Disodium EDTA, or PEG-12 dimethicone.

I've written more on this here at our hypoallergenic products page. Our free eBook shows you more about how to look up the ingredients in your products to see how potentially irritating they may be.

I hope this is helpful to you Kelsey and please let me know if you have further questions.

Best wishes,
Mashubi

Question About Cleure Anti-Aging Products

***z-cleure.shtml*** appears to still sell sensitive skin care products, yet you say that the line you used is no longer available. Is that because their remaining products do not have the anti-aging properties in them?

Our reply

Hi, and thanks for your message. Yes, there was a line of bioactive botanical products I used quite a while back that is no longer available, but thank goodness Cleure is still available and is still my top choice for safe skin care products.

One important thing to understand about anti-aging skin care products for sensitive skin is that you always walk a fine line between using products with ingredients that will not cause your skin to break out, (i.e. hypoallergenic skin care products) and using products that will have some kind of anti-aging benefit, for example reducing wrinkles and fine lines, brightening skin tone, etc.

Most anti-aging skin care products contain bioactive ingredients, which are botanicals that create a specific effect on the skin. They will firm the skin, or brighten it, reduce wrinkles, in some cases lighten the skin ... it all sounds great doesn't it? It is if you can find bioactives that don't cause your skin to break out! :-)

Most bioactive skin care will take some adjustment and you need to go slowly to adapt your skin to it. Most anti-aging skin care products contain bioactives. The choice of which ones to use when you have sensitive skin is very individual.

Thankfully, the
***z-cleure-facial-pack.shtml*** offers a good balance for sensitive skin, of hypoallergenic ingredients which a few carefully chosen anti-aging ingredients which are effective, but will not cause skin irritation.

If you want more anti-aging benefits, you can add the ***z-cleure-essentials-pack.shtml*** which offers gentle exfoliation and a very effectie facial mask, plus an eye cream, all of which produce a noticeable result in the skin without irritation.

What is the Difference Between Cleure and the Wholesale Skincare Products

by kim
(los angeles)

Hi, i love your site and am ready to order some products. It's between cleure or the wholesale skincare products. I have very sensitive acne prone 40 something skin and like you have tried everything. I am currently using la roche posay from the drugstore, it's not bad but not so good either. Please e-mail me more info on the wholesale skincare products. I've signed up but accidentally erased that info. Thanks so much and keep up the good work.

Our reply

Hi Kim and thanks for your message and your words of support! I've re-sent you the e-mail information on the wholesale skincare products, and I wanted to share with you a little about the differences between them and the benefits of each.

Hypoallergenic Skin Care

If you are looking for safe, non-toxic products that will not irritate your sensitive skin, that can provide safe and gentle moisturizing, cleansing, toning and gentle exfoliation, the Cleure Skin Care products are your best choice.

They are the only products I've found that are both hypoallergenic and also that do not contain the kind of chemicals which can irritate sensitive skin. They contain no plant allergens, they work really well, and are specifically designed to not irritate sensitive skin. They are also very affordable, come in generous sizes which last a long time, and the company provides excellent customer service.

The four basic products in the Facial Pack provide cleansing, toning and moisturizing both day and night. If you want additional exfoliation and anti-aging benefits you can add the Essentials Pack which contains an amazing and gentle exfoliating scrub (it also moisturizes) along with a facial mask and eye cream.

These products work really well and I've never had a reaction to them.

Bioactive Skin Care

If you are looking for safe, non-toxic products that will create a noticeable positive change in your skin then I would recommend the wholesale skincare products. They are called Bioactive because they are designed to create a specific effect on the skin. The ingredients of these products reduce inflammation, tighten and firm the skin, even out the skin tone, reduce wrinkles, reduce pigments and dark spots, and can help to reduce or even eliminate many inflammatory skin conditions. My own personal experience was that they created a very noticeable radiance to my skin the very first time I used them! Everyone I've introduced to the products loves the results, however they are not for everyone.

These products are designed specifically for sensitive skin, and use safe and natural ingredients, however because they do contain many different plant ingredients, there is some chance that your skin may react to them. Many people experience a flushing the first time they use the products, which is considered a natural response to the active ingredients, however this may not be something you want to deal with.

This product line requires a gentle introduction and so we guide people to start with just one product at a time. Because the ingredients are so effective, there is no need for exfoliation or facial masks. Four basic products provide all that you need, and they provide two different types of cleanser and moisturizer for different skin types. For maximum benefits you can use all six products (alternating the different cleansers and moisturizers) The results are quite astounding, however it is a more difficult process to purchase the products as they are sold through a company that does not allow us to share the products through our website. You can request information through our e-mail list here at our wholesale skincare products page.

Purchased Cleure Products

I wanted to thank you for all the wonderful information that is on your site. I find myself going back to it often, reading and re-reading the different sections. Allergic to Scent in Cleure Haircare Products?

by Marie
(Stockholm, Sweden)

I am extremely allergic to perfume and scented products overall. I wonder if I can tolerate the ***z-cleure-shampoo.shtml*** and ***z-cleure-hypoallergenic-conditioner.html*** that you recommend, since they have (fragrance-free though) an apple scent to them? I want to try because the fragrance-free shampoo I use have SLS and I do react to it, although it works better than the scented shampoos Ive tried before...

Our reply

Hello Marie, thanks for your excellent question! Yes, the Cleure shampoo and conditioner are not fragrance free, since the ingredients themselves have a mild scent, but there is no added perfumes, fragrances or scents.

From the research I've done about fragrance free haircare products, most companies need to add specific chemicals in order to remove all traces of fragrance from a product. Even products with no added fragrance will have some scent to them.

When I first tried the ***z-cleure.shtml*** hair care products back in 2008, I too was not sure that I could handle the scent since I am SO sensitive to fragrances. I cannot tolerate ANY perfumes in products at all. If I so much as open up a bottle of shampoo with fragrance, it makes me instantly sick!

I contacted Cleure and discovered that they have a money back guarantee so I was able to try them out. The scent never bothered me because it is not perfume, and over the years the products have been reformulated to have even less scent. The newest version of their hair care products (I am writing this in 2013) has VERY LITTLE scent, and I hardly notice it at all.

Both my husband and I have sensitive skin and have tried dozens and dozens of different types of fragrance free or perfume free hair care products. Many of them are acceptable in that they don't make me sick, but most of them cause my hair to look flat, dry or even oily! :(

The ***z-cleure-shampoo.shtml*** and conditioner are the only hypoallergenic hair care products I've tried that actually make my hair look nice! Even better, my VERY picky husband loves them too. He is hard to please and has tried even more fragrance free shampoo than I have. I hope this is helpful to you and I wish you much success in finding a shampoo and conditioner that works for you!

cleure products

by katie
(portsmouth, nh)

Do they sell ***z-cleure.shtml*** products anywhere other than online? I live in nh. I seem to have the same sensitive skin problems as you. I never had skim issues until I turned 27. I never even washed my face before. Now I get allergic reactions to conditioners, perfumes, chapstick and pretty much all facial washes and moisturizers! I have done research on harmful chemicals and just now starting to understand what my body needs. I would like to try this product, I'm determined to not let this problem ruin another summer. Thank you for all this useful information on your website!

-katie

Our reply

Hi Katie, thanks for your message and welcome to our site! You're very welcome, I'm so glad that our information has been helpful for you.

Sometimes just the stress of many life changes, or hormonal changes, is enough to start the cascade effect of allergic reactions on your skin. That has been my experience as well. In the last few years I relocated to a different climate, and then moved several times, and my skin went crazy! It is still trying to find a balance!

In answer to your question, ***z-cleure.shtml*** products are only sold online, and you will find that they ship promptly. You should get the products within a few days. I am a customer myself and have been using the products since 2008. They also have a great chapstick, in addition to their haircare, skincare, body care and dental products. If you're not sure about any of their products, they have sample sizes you can try. I hope that you find a good solution for your sensitive skin!
